The next step is to blow dry the hair and apply the keratin lotion. Then the hair is ironed with a flat iron. A ceramic iron is better than the metal ones. After this a neutralizer is applied to rebind the hair and stabilize it. It is kept for about 30 minutes. The neutralizer is washed off with cold water and then the hair is again blow dried.
